welcome back! ;-) fyi, you can also send blog posts via email (which i presume you can do from your blackberry). should alleviate the whole limited character thing, thus allowing you to do a single blog post with one message.
and i know what you mean about enjoying things before the rest of the world does. i'm still Facebooking, but it was more fun when it was a small group of friends. now i've got folks from h.s. that i haven't spoken to in like 20 years friending me.
