unemployed again

The title's not really true. I've still got the part-time gig at The Restaurant. So it's just like summer when I started getting back into blogging all over again.

I count today as Day One of being unemployed since yesterday I was 1) hung over (stupid gin) and 2) got called in to the Day Job because they, apparently, can't do anything without me.

Today was great though. I breakfasted (my favorite!), napped, and got some much needed cleaning and laundry done. Looking forward to sending out resumes, reading, getting back into running, and having time to actually do Christmas shopping for the first time since I started college.

It does make me (very, very, very) nervous to be unemployed right now. Don't think that it doesn't freak me out to be job hunting, especially right now. However, I think this is a good time in my life to be starting over again. I'm in a good place and have a lot of support behind me. I'm excited to find something new.

Okay, need to throw another batch of laundry into the wash.
